Antique porcelain dust catcher

Description

I am trying to find out what these are - I have two.  My grandmother kept them on her mantel, they appear to be just items that are displayed - they don't open and have no identifying markings on them.  They are in perfect condition.

No there are no markings on the lid or the bottom that would identify the maker - the bottom has a felt circle on the bottom I assume to protect it and any surface it's placed on and there appears to be a circular opening under the felt but I don't want to peel the felt away and ruin it - they are each 11 inches tall

They definitely look like they are from England.  Without taking the felt off to see the marking, there is no way to be sure.  Is there a design on the other side as well?  You can check with an antique dealer in your area for help.  Also, you can easily reglue the felt if you are careful removing it.
