Chair is a dark stained wood, lighter wood visable under the stain at the worn spots. Features a padded seat with springs, metal tacks and a braided edge. Carving is of scrolls, leaves, and columns. The over all carving is decorative but not intricate. The feet are somewhat hairy and are pad feet that are lion-like. The feet have metal "buttons" underneath with a hole through them. The underside of the seat has a cloth covering stapled down. The fastenings that are visable are small metal nail heads and there are some slits in the under side of the seat that may have something to do with the fastening (see images). Just looking to find out what it's worth since I can't find any images online that look like it.
