Pair of Ancestral Chinese Paintings

Description

I purchased this pair from an auction and know very little about Asian art.
The male painting measures 41- 1/2" x 21-1/2". The female, 44-1/2" x 19-1/2".
They appear to be on paper and are partially attached to a thin board. The plastic at the top of the female painting is to hold it in place because the sheet is no longer attached to the board.
Both have damage.
