Description

Hi,

We found this bed while looking in second hand shops in Berlin, and brought it home.

The seller said it would be 200 years old, but I dont think he knew exactly how old it is. And neither do we! It is unfortunately far too big for our apartment, which is why we want to sell it.

The bed is party restored and supporting pieces of wood have been added to add stability to the old wooden parts. The footboard and sides are handpainted. An animal, presumably cow skin covers the headboard.

To what price and what period would you appraise this item?
