Antique Bar

By sarahm, 14 December, 2015
Description

We recently purchased a home (St. Louis, Missouri), built in 1934.  We have acquired a built-in bar that I believe is an original fixture.  We are told the original owner worked somewhere high in the ranks of Anheuser-Busch company and would entertain in the home.  It has a very rathskeller feel.   There is the freestanding bar with two sinks, area for keg with and hook-ups. Behind it is a built-in counter/cabinetry with additional refrigeration.   Other bar decor includes 18 plaster grotesques, all in good-excellent condition.
