Antique Beer Stein

Description

My family has had this for quite some time now. I was told it was in San Francisco and survived the 1906 earthquake. I'm really not sure how old it is. Thank you for checking.

If it's marked "Germany" it will generally postdate 1891, there is probably a company marking under the music box that would indicate a maker and possibly a date. The steins with music boxes though do tend to date later than the San Francisco earthquake.

It's probably just a model/mold number, most steins will have such numbers on them.
