I picked up this table today and am not sure what it is. There's a label inside that appears to be from an auction that says it's a prayer bench, but I'm not sure. I can't find anything like it online. It is made of bamboo, the top surfaces are covered in gold or greenish colored crushed velvet and a floral printed tile piece in the center of the larger top. There is a small drawer with a handle that folds over to the side, it has a foot rest that is covered in the velvet, the piece is assembled with rivets and there are metal caps on the ends of each piece of bamboo.
