Spanish Colonial Folk Art - Bronze 1644

Appraisal complete
Description

This item, according to a friend, was found off the shores of the Marianas Islands (Guam, Saipan, etc.) in the Pacific Ocean. Apparently, this was retrieved by a diver - possibly from a spanish shipwreck.

It appears to be made out of bronze and has the date 1644 inscribed on it. The diameter is roughly 22.5 cm., 19 mm. in thickness and the weight is around 1.6 kilograms. Signed by a VFF.

I would not know what else to add, but it looks beautiful.
