Kutani China matte black hand painted cups (5) and pot

Given as a gift from someone while they were stationed in Japan.

Medium China w/ gold paint

Distinguishing marks Stated as 'hand painted' on the bottom of each piece of the collection

Condition Excellent

History Has sat in padding for years - the light hazes in some parts of the picture are due to fingerprints. I'm too nervous to clean them! The set has never been used.

There are some small marks on the gold top handle of the pot lid, but are so small they could not be picked up by the camera (due to flash). No chips, no fading.
