Ansonia clock with cherub

Appraisal complete
Description

I am hoping to find out info about my grandmother's clock and a possible value. It appears brass and stands about  8 inches high and 7 inches across at the widest point. It's heavy -- about three pounds. The back is stamped "Ansonia Clock Co. Pat. May 3rd 1892." The face is slighly yellowed but the glass is intact. Not sure if it works.
