Not sure what it is made from but i know that it is valuable, it has some texture to the touch.

Hi,

My best guess is that the vase is Alabaster. Ivory or bone would be much lighter in weight.

Continue your research with Alabaster. The prices aren't that high, but I believe that a great deal of the final price is the quality of the listing.
