Description

I purchased these two pieces several years ago at a small antique shop that specializes in estate sales. I love to collect asian art and these two caught my eye immediately. I believe they are Chinese and I think they are on silk; I'm trying to determine the time period as well as the type of embroidery and their value. The embroidery is exquisite as you can see in the close-ups. There are no signatures that I can find.  Each one is 36" x 29" and they came to me framed in this bamboo-like patterned frame. Nothing is written on the back, but I have not taken them out of the frames.

Sorry about the flash on the pics - they are behind glass and it wasn't easy to not have reflections.

The first 5 pictures are from the 1st piece; the last 4 are from the 2nd piece
