Description

Hi everyne.  I'm interested in finding infrmatin on this tea set.  It is a very light mint green and gilt.  I can tell it is hand painted. The bottom is only stamped with Japan.  Does that mean it is not from a known maker?  Would there be any value to it with just that stamp?

Anything from Japan marked "Japan" generally would date after 1921, the word "Nippon" was used before then. Based on the style and design your set dates from the 1920's to early 30's. No huge value, less than $150.00 on Ebay, sets like this were mass produced for the Export market before World War Two.
