I only found one site with information about this art print (http://www.railsplitter.com/sale12/art.html) I did find a similar one for sale on etsy I believe, but there wasn't much info and the price difference was vastly different than the other site. I am interested in knowing the value of this piece, the year it is from and any other info you may have about it.
According to the railsplitter site, they say "A wonderfully rich talio-chrome print of an original illumination by J. R. Rosen, engrosser for Harvard University, with paintings by A. E. Hilton being the text of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. 12.5 x 16.75" A lovely presentation piece, rich in color and detail with thick gilt borders."
The frame is in great condition except for the paper on the back is tearing a bit at the top. The piece itself is in pristine condition as it has been behind glass.
Some of the print looks to have raised ink as if it were painted by hand.
There is a piece of paper glued to the back with info about the Gettysburg Address. At the bottom it has the name Frank L. Hammette, Sr. with an address below his name.
Thanks for your assistance!
