I just recently purchased this teddy bear. I collect teddy bears. This one I know is antiaque. The tag is on the left ear. Says designed by Character. The back of the tag says it's 100% mohair backing 100% cotton cloth content. I got it at an antiaque store. I was wondering if anybody could tell me more on this design. I've looked around haven't seen any design close to this one. Any thing you see on this bear is how I bought it. Just looking for history. I wouldn't mind hearing worth but I'm not expecting much. Also compared to my other teddy bears this one has more weight to it. Also very possible previous owner was in the Tompkkins county area of New York State.
