Description

Antique, all original, late 1800s, walnut Victorian Eastlake style 2-piece secretary desk / bookcase. Secretary desk with solid cylinder roll top, glass bookcase, original panes of glass with waviness in it. Carved reliefs, incised lines, moldings Period hardware. Two original keys. Rolling on four wheels.

Lovely piece of furniture, dates to about 1880, sadly demand for Victorian furniture has dropped considerably since the 1990's. We used to sell comparable examples for over $3500.00, but have trouble getting much over $2500.00 for one now.

Depends on the individual stores overhead and volume, but would have to be 30% -50% to keep the doors open.
