Description

Hello, I found this beautiful compote or centerbowl at an estate sale. I was able to determine that it is a Von Schierholz piece and made in Germany. As you will see in the photos the logo with leaves & crown is quite smudged and it states Made in Germany underneath. This piece lacks any other information other than a few numbers indented on the bottom. Other pieces I have found from this company have Schierholz or another name stamped on the bottom as well as the logo. Also, my piece is a solid bone white color (not white white) more of a really pretty bone color with the typical plethora of very delicate hand pressed flowers. Most other works from this artist are typically quite colored. I cannot seem to find any other pieces that are this solid bone color and have the similar logo, so I am wondering about the time frame this was made and the possible value.
