Description

Hi all,

This chair came to me through my mom - and she received it from a woman in the 1970's. We are all located in the Northeastern US. Massachusetts to be exact. The woman we initially received it from said it was 200 years old - at that time. So it could date to the 1770's.

I would like to know if anyone knows where and when this chair was made - and how much it might be worth now?

It is sturdy, well-crafted, unusually low to the ground. There are condition issues. The gray-blue paint is peeling.

The nails look rather old to me. Starting to think this is indeed an old piece.

Thank you for your help!
