Description

I was told my local antique shops that this appears to be a 19th century Italian majolica vase . I believe it is ceramic and it has an intricate hand painted light pink flower and leaf design wrapped in branches . At the base of the vase in front is a Victorian style woman wearing a bonnet and holding a light blue fan . The rest of the vase is white with splashes of gold, pink and gray . There is no signature or artist markings simply a number etched in the bottom of the base in the back which appears to be 2912. It is in great condition with no cracks, chips or marks that I can see . It's roughly around 18-20 inches tall from top to bottom of grassy display under vase base

It's not majolica, majolica is a white glazed terracotta. This appear to actually be a 20th century capodimointe style lamp base rather than a vase.
