Description I purchased a pair of these lamps at a local thrift store, and noticed a sticker that said "Frederick Cooper Chicago" on them while dusting them off. Out of curiosity, i looked them up online. I found lots of lamps by this brand, but absolutely none that resemble my pair. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out if they May be authentic. They're ceramic or porcelain, they're black, and have a colorful variety of hand painted flowers, branches and a bird on each one. Possibly copper trim, and a wooden bottom. They are matte, but possibly weren't always. Excellent condition really, other than missing lampshades. Very pretty, vintage looking Asian style Design.
