This is dining set manufactured by Middlesex Furniture Company in Ontario, Canada. It's been passed down as a family heirloom for generations. My father believes it's at least 100 years old, but I really have no idea.
Set includes a dining table (with leaf), a side bar and and a china cabinet. All three pieces are stamped with "M.F. CO. -273-". There is also one full arm chair in pieces. Unfortunately, the rest of the chairs are gone.
The furniture is in well used condition with many nicks and faded finish in a few places. I believe the finish is original.

Re: Middlesex Furniture Company Dining Set
Sets like this tend to date from the first quarter of the 20th century, but look older because they were designed to resemble early English furniture styles such as Jacobean, Elizabethan and William & Mary. Demand for sets like this last peaked during the 1990's and has been in decline since then, currently comparable sets now sell at auction for around $500.00.
