Description

I found this wooden mug at an estate sale in Northern California. It appears to be very old with with a thru-hole for maybe carrying it? The holes and handle show a lot of wear and are polished smooth, while the rest of it looks ancient. There also appears to be different designs on the side and handle. I'm just wondering if it had any specific purpose or if it could be dated. Thanks a lot in advance for any help.
