Description
We recently purchased this dining set. It was described by the seller as purchased in the 1940s (??) and had been kept in the family since new. It includes the table, 2 leaf extensions, 6 chairs, buffet, mirror with painting above, original glass cut to fit table and protection pads. All original. After further inspection we noticed the Furniture by Tomlinson metal stamps attached to each piece along with the Jefferson e-z slide table stamp on the bottom of table. I've tried to Google this particular set and can find NOTHING. Any thoughts or ideas about it?

Re: Furniture by Tomlinson
This set is in the French Provincial style, which has gone in and out of popularity about every 30 years since it`s original inception during the mid 1700`s. Sets like this one tend to date from after World War Two (1945). Sets like this were made in huge numbers, so values tend to be modest, especially if they need refinishing. At auction comparable sets now often sell for under $500.00.
