screw type barn jacks

By Donald Hall, 18 June, 2018
Description

Two old screw type cast iron barn or house jacks.  Both made by I I & B Co.

     1.  15.5 in. high marked 2 x 12    28 lb.

     2.  13 in. high marked 2 x 10.   22.5 lb. Also has emblem cast in saying Vulcan and showing                  hammer.  I can't read other words but it looks like precits and cat--?

I am guessing these are 19th century jacks, but I have no way to back that except the company.
