Mt. Airy Chair Company Table

Description The table is designed to fold open into a larger dining table on sliding rails. It has spring loaded pins that lock the table in place on both sides. The letter R is stamped in the same spot on opposite sides of the table. The only other markings are 2439 TABLE underneath. There are no other labels unfortunately. It has a drawer that has the Mt. Airy Chair Company North Carolina stamp on the inside. It's a beautifully designed console/dining table. I don't have much information about it. I was told the letter R could stand for Raymond Sabota. It is a one of a kind and have never seen anything like it. The table us in excellent condition for its age.
