Bavarian Coffee Set

Description Hi everyone, I'd appreciate some advice on this item. My mom passed last year and we have been sorting through her estate. She left this set to me and my sister. For as long as we can remember it's been wrapped in newspaper in a box, packed carefully away. We were told it is a Bavarian coffee set. Unfortunately that's all we know. I'd love some history on the set if it is indeed an antique, and ballpark value if any. The set is full, including 6 cups, saucers and side plates, a sugar bowl with lid, milk jug and coffee pot with lid. The stamp underneath each piece says Bavaria with a number - some pieces have a 26, some a 28 and some a 31. The set has definitely been used, the edges of the cups are worn and the gold leaf is worn in some places such as on handles. Thanks so much for everyones time, I look forward to any responses :) Regards, Patric
