Description I was fortunate enough to come across these two platters from a storage unit that have been closed for 30 years plus. All I've been able to glean from them is they are depicting a scene from an oil painting from the 16th century by Francesco albani. The name of the painting is called the dance of the cherubs and it depicts the scene of the cherubs around the tree and in the tree dancing.
