Description

Hi all, first time on the forum. Wondering what you all think of this piece. 99% sure it's a solid silver ceremonial platter from Israel. The back lettering appears to indicate the words "SILVER ISRAEL" followed by symbols or a brand, and then underneath that possibly "FRNS". The design has a tree with seven branches which would be interpreted as a menorah. We found it in grandma's junk and cleaned it by hand with silver polish but it would probably look better after being professionally restored. It does have a couple of blemishes and a scratch on the top. Any ideas what this could be worth and where to take it for a fair shake?

thank you for your consideration.
