Bought from an antique collector in vigan philippines. i dont know what is the image and so im looking for someone to tell me what is it at glance it looks like a leaf or a cabbage others would say its a lotus.
Hello I trade in carved jade on almost a daily basis and I don't think this is in any way a lotus flower or leaf. Possibly not even leaf, as usually a stem is more obvious and the suggestion of branches. I go with "feather" myself, particularly as their national bird is the Philippine Eagle. The seven holes are significant, perhaps signifying the seven chakras of healing. I would suggest therefore that it's a lucky amulet of healing and protection.
