Antique Quarter Sawn Ball and Stick Table

Description

I have this unique square quarter sawn oak table with ball and stick detail on the 2nd tier. I am unable to find another table like it anywhere in my research. The best guess I have is that it is a Victorian lamp or fern table. There are no markings on the table. The only info I have on this table is that it was purchased in the early 1970s at an antique shop in San Francisco, CA. It appears to have been handmade and is in near pristine condition for its age. I would love to know what type of table this is exactly and what its value would be.
