Goldenvale dolls are contemporary, 20th century reproduction dolls. They made 2000 of each style. Dolls like this weremade to fill the gap when the demand for the original Victorian examples caused values to climb out of reach for average collectors. The market for  dolls crashed and sadly these modern dolls have not appreciated in value, mainly due to the huge numbers of purduced during the 1980's to early 1990's. In the current market the Goldenvale dolls often sell for under $75.00.
