Hand Painted Shafford Figurines

Description

I have 2 hand painted Shafford figurines and I am trying to learn something about them.

I assume they are a set. There is a man figure and he is leaning on the tree stump holding a basket of flowers. He is dressed in period clothing.

The woman is also dressed in period clothings. She is holding a basket of flowers in her left hand and a goose in her right.

They are both 12" tall and the base is 4.5" wide.

They are both stamped with "Hand Painted Shafford"

Any help is appreciated

Thank you in advance
