Description
Table is Mid Century Modern, very heavy and solid wood with some sort of veneer or seal on the top so it wore very well. Measures approx 41" in diameter. Comes with 12" leaf to make the table an oval shape. Also comes with four chairs.
Re: Walter of Wabash 41" Round Table with Turned Legs and 12"...
The set is actually Colonial Revival. Not much demand for it these days, demand last peaked in the early 1990's. Comparable sets sell at thrift shops for under $150.00 these days.
Re: Walter of Wabash 41" Round Table with Turned Legs and 12"...
Walter of Wabash is not the manufactuer of the table either. They are a table glide maker who still make table glides today. Their table glides are all marked with this name. Your table top is made from plastic laminate that has a wood grain look. While Lovejoy says not much value now We have been finishing these types of sets for customers who remember them from youth to painted finshes and they look good that way. I would not try though to paint plastic laminate though.
