Description

Some basic research tells me that this was likely made in the late 1800's or early 1900's although i haven't seen anything like (or even remotely related to) it online.  It may possibly be an early piece from the Mitchell & Rammelsberg days as i found a thread online that mentioned the reason for "glue rings" under the paper label.  (Look closely at the picture)

It's been in my family for years and my father was born in Cincinatti OH but i don't know if its the reason that he had it.

It's in good condition and I'm curious what it might be worth and where would be the best place to sell it.

THanks to all for any input!  cervin
