Hello Everyone! Just looking for a bit of advice. My dad is having a clear out. :) These items were given to our family in the early 80s by our next door neighbour. A very well off english lady who I remember had loads of old beautiful things in her home. My mother has reupholstered these chairs (again in the early 80s, therefore I know the material isn't original)
the pictures are before they have been cleaned up. So the markings on the material is aging which prehaps with a bit of effort will come off but not with a quick clean basically. . But the wood is in very good condition. (The pictures just show dust)
can anyone advise what period these are from? And prehaps their worth? Potentially Georgian? Or French? Any advice would be appreciated. :)
