Sybil Connolly

By dddevole, 4 August, 2021
Description

I found a set of tall glasses with a matching glass bowl and plate at an estate sale. The glass pieces have a signature of Sybil Connolly. I learned that Sybil Connolly was an Irish Fashion Designer from the 1950's - 1980's who designed clothing, and also diinnerware, china, and crystal. She was a favorite of Jaqueline Kennedy. She designed china/glassware collections for Tiffany and Co. such as Merrion Square and Mrs Delaney's Flowers. The pieces I found look like they may be called Irish Garden, created for a company called Sigma Tastesetters, but it's just a guess. I couldn't find any pictures of pieces similar to mine online.
