Description a friend's father gave this chest to him 48 years ago and he gave to me, not to sure of it's origins or value, but if the right offer were to come in, I would be inclined to accept. no metal nails or screws used in it's construction, except for the hinges and front plate which are copper I believe. It does have an odd raised mark off to one corner, unsure if it is a makers mark and is surprisingly lightweight
