I think this would come under militaria and would be considered trench art https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trench_art Value is probably going to be determined on the taste of the buyer, how desirable the image is to them. Here are some that sold on eBay (not sure if all of them are actually trench art but you can kind of tell which ones are hand made) https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=trench+art+cigarette+case&_sacat=0&rt=nc&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1 If you have any background on the prisoner that information would be good to keep with the case.
