Description
I’m seeking info on two items with Lippiatt Silverplate & Eng. Co, 1000, patented engraved on the bottoms. What appears a a spread winged bird as mark. I’ve found the mark and it matches the name. This piece was made prior to the company closing 1872. The pieces are etched. The larger of the two stand about 4 3/4” high on a 4 1/2” base, with a 3 1/2” open top. No lid in my possession. It measures about 5 1/2” at widest part and weighs 15.1 oz. The creamer/pitcher stands 5” tall on a 3 1/4” base, 1 7/8” top opening. No lid either. It’s about 3 1/2” at widest measurement and weighs 12.1 oz. It has a thumb rest on its handle. Both pieces have similar etching designs, if not exact.
