Description

My mother in law found a couple of an rogers pieces in storage and asked me to find out if they were real or not. This one has been harder to find but it's a large spoon approx 8.5 inches long with "am rogers mfg. co. Original rogers" on the back of the spoons neck. Any ideas as to authenticity, year, or worth? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It's a late 19th Century Serving spoon, and it is silverplated and not Sterling silver. Sadly the demand for silver plated cultlery is almost non existent these days, spoons like this sell for under $5.00 at thrift shops.
