I found this item. I do not know much about it I looked it up online and all I could find was that it was vintage and possibly Amish. I'm just wondering what the value of this is and if it is actually vintage or valuable at all.

Hi, does your chair have any markings underneath it? I would look under the bottom of the seat, back of the chair, or perhaps on the legs for any markings.

"Colonial Revival" style convertible Pressback Highchair Rockers like this date from the turn of the 19th Century. The term "Press back" refers to "carved" top rail, which was actually pressed into ther wood under high pressure via a steam press. They rode the crest of popularity again in the 1980's along with the trend of Victorian decorating that lasted until the 1990's. Values for them since that time have declined drastically, Victorian decorartive items and furniture no longer being in vogue.
