Cuckoo Clock

Description

My parents bought in Germany about 20 years ago.  This  Black Forest chalet cuckoo clock features a hand painted moving watermill,  Black Forest dancing clock peddler figurines who move to Swiss melodies.  Three pinecone weights hang from the bottom: one to keep the time, one for the cuckoo call, and a third for the music that plays every hour.  It has all parts and works but does need a tune up.

While early Black Forest type Cuckoo Clocks made before World War One (1914) can be very valuable, but the modern versions like this one often sell for under $100.00 currently.
