Description Late 1800s up to maybe 1920 - Alabama Salt Glazed Crock Stoneware churn. From what I’ve researched, It appears it was made on the Alabama, Mississippi Border By D.E Summerford in Mississippi, but his mail went to Bexar, Alabama. D.E. Summerford made this butter churn in Hill Country, Itawamba County, Mississippi. It has Colbalt Blue Lettering & Stripes, holds four gallons and it has a handle on it's left side in which you can see the potter's fingermarks..
