Iron bed frame

Appraisal complete
Description It’s iron and very heavy. Held together with hitches and comes with a head board, foot board, and 2 side rails. Has a couple coats of paint that I am about to strip off so can’t see a stamp where I believe there is one. Had decent scroll work and is ungodly heavy.

Looking for feed back what color to paint and anything else what the value would be as it sits and fully restored

These beds tend to date 1890's to about 1910, a lot of them sold through mail order catalogs of companies such as Sears Roebuck and Montgomery Ward. In "As Is" condition most of them tend to go for about $150.00 at auction. Color choice is a personal one, most go with white.
