Description The item is a gold antique ladies watch on a gold chain with a matching fob. The back of the watch is encrusted with diamonds, rubies and emeralds. I would like to find out some information about the same.

Medium Gold - not sure if it's 14 or 18k.

Distinguishing marks I can't read what's on the back of the watch. Should I try to get a photo of it?

Size and dimensions of this item 1.5 inch round

History This was a gift given to my grandfather sometime in the 1910's. He saved a child's life that had fallen in Florida shark-infested waters as he was working on a hotel's boat during their day trips. The child's mother (from NY) took this off and gave this to him as a thank you - she said it was all she had with her and insisted he accept her gift. My grandfather left it to me. That is all the history I am aware of.
