The company that made it has an interesting history, here is a link for you. https://stovehistory.blogspot.com/2017/12/warnick-leibrandt-philadelphia.html. Stoves of this type were multi purpose, often use for heat and also warming cast iron sad irons for ironing clothes. They made very decorative stoves, the last comparable one to this I saw sold at auction went for $250.00.
