My father was in WWII and collected many items

Description

My father was in WWII and he collected many items. He was stationed in New Guinea as an engineer, he helped build one of the first airports there, General Eisenhower came to see it after it was completed.

While in New Guinea and other surrounding areas he collected many handcrafted wooden items and cloth from silk. Unique to the Philippines, piña is an extraordinary textile made by weaving the fibers of the leaves of the pineapple. A beautiful Chinese lace tablecloth, this is for a very large table, there are other items that my father collected other than items from WWII.

Very interesting items from your father's collection. Only issue is that there are so many disparate pieces that it would be very difficult to come up with what each item is, its history, and value based on so many items. My suggestion would be to pick a few that you are most interested in, take a bunch of photos of each item, and then upload your request singly. That should be a bit easier instead of detailing everything in your collection at once. Hope this helps.
