Description

These vintage Anthropomorphic Orange Pears Kissing Salt and Pepper Shakers from Japan feature a charming design with a fruit shape. Made of ceramic, these shakers are in the form of kissing pears, adding a playful touch to your dining table. Perfect for all occasions, these shakers are a unique collectible item that will surely bring a smile to anyone's face. The bright orange color and intricate details make them a delightful addition to any kitchen or dining room.

Use them to celebrate a harvest fest, Halloween or any fall holiday. The two pears look like pumpkins. The original red lips and color look like knew.

There is some residual scotch tape left on the bottoms and the cork stoppers are missing.

History My Uncle Dean brought these shakers back form Japan to give to his mother (my grandmother). He was stationed while in the Navy during the occupation immediately after World War II. She was the original owner born in 1898 and never used them. They were kept in a curio cabinet until 1994 when they were then given to me. I've kept them in a box and only recently opened it. They're looking for a new home.
