chintz small butter dish

Description

Small butter dish with chintz transfer pattern (pink & green flowers on black background). The pattern is on the top of the lid and around the base of the dish. The pattern 'joins' are visible at the corners. There are no pottery marks. The clay colour is cream. There is no damage but the base is discoloured and the colour is rubbed on the handle.
The base measures 15 cm x 12 cm. The lid measures 11cm x 8 cm.
I cannot identify the chintz pattern.
