<p>During the turn of the 19th Century there was a flurry of activity amoung manufacturers to get in on the sewing machine business, which was a huge market at the time. Most companies were short lived affairs, eventually being beaten into the ground by Singer by the 1920&#39;s. Values for these treadle machines are very modest, most by obscure or badge engineered makers sell for less than $150.00.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Lovejoy </p>
